Why is this important?Families are the constants in a child's life and are pivotal in creating a system of care. Family members, including those representative of culturally diverse communities, must have a meaningful and consistent role in the systems development at the state and community levels. Family input and participation is necessary for decision-making in all strategic planning efforts.
