Building Community-Based Systems of Care for CYSHCN Webcourse

As part of the Rocky Mountain Public Health Education Consortium (RMPHEC), a 15-hour web course was developed by Richard Roberts, Adrienne Akers, and Diane Behl. The course, entitled Building Community-Based Systems of Care for CYSHCN, targets community-based public health workers in the pursuit of knowledge and expertise related to children and youth with special health needs and their families. The course consisted of three learning modules: 1) Who Are the Children and Families? 2) What Services and Resources Are Available for Families of CSHCN? 3) Implementing and Measuring a System of Care. The value of this course to the current project is the broad view that it offers regarding building systems of care.
