Related DocumentsHealthy & Ready to Work's Review of the 2004 Block Grants Block Grant Variable Summary Review: This document contains the list of variables gathered from the 2004 Block Grants and then used as a template to review the Block Grants a second time. In the second review, for each variable listed, HRTW identified the number of states that say they are doing or planning the activity (or in some cases we know from other sources). It gives a good idea of what areas, according to the text of the Block Grants, are well integrated into the Title V agencies and which are quite new. Block Grant 2004 Transition Progress Comments: This document describes the process we used in reviewing the Block Grants and then summarizes the findings for each of the National Performance Measures. Again this gives the Feds, national centers, and the states, an idea of how transition programming is being integrated into Title V CYSHCN services in the states. HRTW plans to review the 2005 Block Grants with the same list of variables to see if more transition activities are being described. Having these documents available for the states might help them in both documenting their activities and discussing plans for the coming year. Resources |
